Mitsubishi commonly uses a 10 pin DDK connector for their servo motors. There are two main wiring setups that can be used with these connectors, each requiring a different test cable. If you are not sure which cable to use, the physical wiring can help you determine.
The newest HG series of servo motors use a modern 2-wire serial data transmission. This is compatible with the TI-5732 feedback test cable.
2-wire Serial Data
The motors prior to the HG series commonly use the TI-5088 feedback test cable. This legacy wiring method uses 4 wires for the serial data transmission.
4-wire Serial Data
As you can see from the wiring, there is no concern for trying either test cable if you are not sure as they share the same power and ground pins (P5 and LG). Additional cables and support details can be found in our Training Manual beginning on page 94, section 2.6.7.
