Festo motors have become more popular in recent years. They typically come with Heidenhain ECI1118 or EQI1130 serial EnDat 2.2 encoders without any incremental lines. Do to the lack of incremental lines, we currently do not have the ability to set the scanning gap using the Line Levels test. A serial gap mounting test is currently in development.
Festo also stores unique motor data in the memory which we do not currently support. We are developing the memory support, and we know that the alignment angles are unique to each motor and stored in the memory data. Please record the incoming alignment for +U-V and +U-W lockups. Then 'Save the Memory Hex File' from Data Display and send us your alignments and data file for review.
We do support running these motors on the TI-3000JX.
The motor feedback will use the TI-5662 cable with the Heidenhain EnDat software selection.
The motor power cable is the TI-3027.
Here are datasheets on similar motors.
