Festo EMMS motors have become more popular in recent years. They typically come with Heidenhain EnDat 2.1/2.2 serial encoders without any incremental lines. Do to the lack of incremental lines, we currently do not have the ability to set the scanning gap using the Line Levels test. A serial gap mounting test is currently in development.
Please see this article for help identifying the various models and feedback options on Festo servo motors.

Festo motors also store unique alignment and nameplate data in the encoder memory. We have preliminary memory support nearly completed. Until the memory support is released, simply send the memory file to us at support@mitchell-electronics.com for a decoded file. The stored alignment angles are unique to each motor. Please record the incoming alignment for +U-V and +U-W lockups so we can verify with our report.
We do support running these motors on the TI-3000JX using the Gen Endat Run Ser selection.
The motor feedback commonly uses the TI-5662 cable with the TI-3027 power cable.
Here are datasheets on similar motors.
