The Allen Bradley MP series motors with SICK Stegmann Hiperface encoders (SRS, SRM, SKS, SKM) contain unique motor data stored in the encoder memory chip, including a unique encoder alignment. Use the Allen Bradley Memory Test to view this data, and save the memory hex file if you need to program it into a replacement encoder. You can use the Electronic Commutation Tool in Data Display to align the encoder so it matches the alignment angles stored in the memory.
