The Omron R88M-G and R88M-K series motors appear to be setup much the same as Panasonic motors. They use serial encoders such as the MFE0017, MFE2500P8NX, MFE0020, and others. They are compatible with the Panasonic feedback test cables TI-5074, TI-5078, TI-5087, TI-5642, TI-5711, and TI-5757.
The encoders do store a small amount of memory data, including the Omron motor model. The Omron data is compatible with our Panasonic memory test, however, the alignment reported is only accurate for the G series currently.
The documented Omron alignment of the R88M-G series matches the standard Panasonic alignment:
+U-V = 240E
+U-W = 180E

The R88M-K series uses a different alignment, and the Panasonic Memory Test angles should not be used.
+U-V = 60E
+U-W = 0E
